Summary
A conditional land exchange that would add about 37.3 acres owned by Deli, Inc. to the Black River State Forest and release the United States' reversionary interest in specified State forest land. The swap would be contingent on the State of Wisconsin conveying roughly 31.8 acres of State forest land to Deli, Inc. in exchange for the Deli parcels. After those conveyances the Secretary of Agriculture would deliver a recordable quitclaim deed to the State without payment and may correct legal descriptions. The parcels are defined in the bill and remain subject to existing easements and public water use.

Federal claim lifted for Wisconsin land swap
If enacted, USDA would give up its reversionary claim on about 31.83 acres in the Black River State Forest (Millston, Wisconsin). This would happen only if Wisconsin agrees in writing to swap that land to Deli, Inc. for about 37.27 acres from Deli, Inc. The Deli land would be added to the State Forest. The Secretary would issue a quitclaim deed with no payment and give it to the State before the swap deeds are recorded. Deli, Inc. must own or hold an option on the land, and the swap must be approved by the Wisconsin DNR, the Natural Resources Board, and the Governor. The Secretary could correct the legal land description as needed.
