Bigger sole-source contracts for veterans
If enacted, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses would be eligible for larger sole-source awards. The bill would raise one SDVOSB sole-source threshold from $7 million to $10 million and the other from $3 million to $8 million. Contract option amounts would not be counted when checking those limits. The FAR and the Defense FAR supplement would be updated within 180 days, and the changes would apply to solicitations issued 180 days after enactment.
