Puyallup Tribe trust access expanded

If enacted, the Puyallup Tribe would be able to withdraw money from the Puyallup Settlement Trust Fund. Withdrawals would have to follow the American Indian Trust Fund Management Reform Act of 1994 (25 U.S.C. 4001 et seq.). Withdrawals would need to be made under a management plan the Secretary approves. The bill would also say nothing in the 1989 Settlement Act prevents the United States from treating the Tribe like other federally recognized tribes under any federal law enacted after this bill's enactment.
