Extends authorization for water grants
This bill would change the Section 319 nonpoint source program's statutory authorization window. It would replace "for each of fiscal years 2023 through 2027" with "for each of fiscal years 2027 through 2031." If enacted, that would keep the program authorized through 2031 and preserve grant eligibility for states, territories, tribes, and other recipients. The bill would not set or change any funding amounts, eligibility rules, or enforcement terms.
