New farm match program for farmers
If enacted, the Secretary of Agriculture would establish a Farm Land Link Program within 180 days after enactment. The Secretary would be required to consider the study under section 12609(b) of the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 when running the program. The program would end five years after enactment unless the Secretary extends it one time for another five years no later than 180 days before the scheduled end. The Secretary would send an initial report to the House and Senate Agriculture Committees within 30 months, then annual reports until the program ends, and a final report within 180 days after termination.
