TSA Commuting Fairness Act

Study on treating TSA commute time as on-duty. This bill would require the Transportation Security Administration to finish a feasibility study within 270 days on whether travel between regular duty locations and airport parking lots or bus and transit stops at small, medium, and large hub airports should count as on-duty time. The study must examine average commuting time, potential benefits for employees and the agency, using phones or location data to log arrivals and departures, estimated costs including possible credit toward retirement pay, and other factors the Administrator finds appropriate. The report must be submitted to the specified House and Senate committees.
