Stop forced arbitration for Amtrak riders
If enacted, you would be able to go to court instead of being forced into arbitration for disputes with Amtrak. This would apply if you are an Amtrak customer who seeks or gets Amtrak services, accommodations, or carriage. It would not apply to Amtrak employees. It would not cover disputes under the Railway Labor Act. Courts, not arbitrators, would decide whether this rule applies. The rule would apply to disputes that arise or accrue on or after the date of enactment.
