Would provide $500 million to the Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) for fiscal year 2027. It would appropriate that money to the Secretary of Health and Human Services to support LIHWAP activities under the American Rescue Plan Act. It would not change LIHWAP eligibility rules or benefit calculations. *Would increase federal spending by $500 million in FY2027.*

If enacted, this bill would appropriate $500 million to the Department of Health and Human Services for the Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program for fiscal year 2027. The money would fund LIHWAP activities authorized by the American Rescue Plan Act.
