Blocks a proposed federal rule on financial assistance to protect local funding. The Protect Local Funding Act would prohibit the Director of the Office of Management and Budget and the head of any other federal agency from finalizing, implementing, or enforcing the proposed rule titled "Regulation for Federal Financial Assistance" published in the Federal Register on May 29, 2026 (91 Fed. Reg. 32198) or any substantially similar rule.

Stops proposed federal aid rule
