Sponsored By: Representative Wied, Tony [R-WI-8]
Introduced
Summary
Centralizes onshoring help for small manufacturers. This bill would require the Small Business Administration, through its Office of Manufacturing and Trade, to create and maintain a publicly accessible website within 60 days of enactment that lists resources and information for small business concerns to onshore part or all of their manufacturing capacity. The site would include contact information for general inquiries, relevant SBA offices, and partner organizations, and may include other materials the Assistant Administrator deems appropriate. Each year the office head would seek input from the SBA Chief Counsel for Advocacy to update and improve the site.
