Summary
This bill would create a _lawful-carry exemption for firearms on specified federal lands_. It says people who are not otherwise barred from possessing firearms could carry on certain federal units so long as they follow the gun laws of the state where the land sits.

Carry firearms on some federal lands
If enacted, you would be able to possess a firearm in certain federal areas owned or leased by BLM, the Bureau of Reclamation, the National Forest System, NOAA, the National Park Service, the National Wildlife Refuge System, the TVA, or the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This would apply only when the specific area is open to visitors or invitees of that unit or facility. The bill would treat possession in those areas as possession with a lawful purpose under 18 U.S.C. § 930 only if you are not otherwise prohibited from possessing a firearm and the possession complies with the law of the State where the land is located.
