Supporting the goals and ideals of "National Middle-Level Education Month".

This resolution would support National Middle-Level Education Month and honor the schools and educators who teach grades 5 through 10. It notes that over 18 million young adolescents are in a key brain-development period and says they need research-backed instruction, qualified teachers, safe and supportive learning environments, and school structures that promote personalization and equity. It also calls attention to a "missing middle" in federal funding and encourages public engagement with middle-grade schools.
