National Kinship Care Month and support for kinship caregivers. This resolution would designate September 2026 as National Kinship Care Month, encourage Congress to pursue policies that help vulnerable children by supporting kinship families, honor grandparents, siblings, Tribal members, and other kin caregivers, and reaffirm the need to improve outcomes through Title IV, parts B and E of the Social Security Act and Kinship Navigator programs.
