In Committee
Summary
Clarifies VA coverage for adaptive and sports prosthetic devices. This bill would add the phrase "including adaptive prostheses and terminal devices for sports and other recreational activities" to the definition of "artificial limbs" in 38 U.S.C. §1701(6)(F)(i), so eligible veterans could receive adaptive and sports-related prosthetic devices as part of VA medical services.
