Academic discount for historical Short Volume data
If you are a qualifying academic purchaser, the Exchange will offer historical U.S. Equity Short Volume and Trades Reports at the greater of (i) a 50% discount off your total purchase or (ii) $500. The change is effective upon filing on April 23, 2025 (example: a $750 purchase would have a 50% discount to $375 but you would be charged $500).
Historical report limited to display use only
Historical Short Volume Reports sold by the Exchange are allowed only for display use and redistribution on a User's platform; Users of the historical data may not charge separately for data included in the Short Volume Report or incorporate such data into a product. The Exchange also requires academic purchases to be limited to faculty and students and prohibits commercial or industry-funded research from qualifying for the academic price.
