Continued Assessments for Unaccompanied Children

If you are an unaccompanied child in ORR care or an adult who might sponsor one, the agency will keep using and update the forms it uses to check the child’s safety and the sponsor’s suitability. These assessments inform decisions about the child’s care while in ORR custody and help reunify the child with a sponsor. ORR is asking OMB for approval to continue this information collection without added costs or delays.
