Faster Federal Data-Breach Sharing

All Federal agencies must add two mandatory routine uses to their System of Records Notices to allow sharing of personally identifiable information (PII) when responding to a confirmed or suspected breach or to help another agency respond. This change implements the Office of Management and Budget memorandum dated January 3, 2017, and takes effect starting now, and the notice says it helps protect your information without costing extra money.
