The Coast Guard will enforce a security zone on the Delaware River from Philadelphia, PA to the Delaware Bay. During the enforcement period, the operator of any vessel is prohibited from entering the zone unless authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Delaware Bay or a designated representative.

No fees for boaters during escort

The temporary security zone is intended to safely escort a vessel and does not charge boaters any fees during the enforcement period, so affected vessel operators will not pay fees to transit the zone while it is enforced.
