H-1B Lottery Weighted For Higher Pay
If you or your employer files for an H-1B cap-subject petition, DHS proposes a weighted selection system that generally favors higher-skilled and higher-paid workers. The proposal says employers hiring lower-paid workers would still have an opportunity to obtain H-1B registrations, but higher-paid/higher-skilled beneficiaries would get preferable allocation.
