Missouri updates emission fees

Missouri is updating the emissions fee and a base fee for calendar years 2025–2028 and beyond and revises the per-ton emissions fee for permitted sources. The revised emission fees are effective January 1, 2026, and the fee subsection (3)(A) is being included in Missouri’s Title V Operating Permits Program but is not being approved into the SIP.

1‑Bromopropane added to hazardous list

Missouri is adding 1‑Bromopropane to the category 1 Hazardous Air Pollutant list in table 1. If your Missouri facility uses or emits 1‑Bromopropane, it will be listed as a category 1 Hazardous Air Pollutant under this rule.

Emission reporting years updated

The rule updates emission reporting years in table 4 of section (4)(B) as set by Missouri statute, changing when sources must report emission data. These reporting-year changes are part of the March 19, 2025 submittal and will apply under Missouri’s rule.
