FCC Cleans Up FM Allotments

If you operate a radio station in Maplesville, AL; Overgaard or Sells, AZ; Lake Isabella, MI; Bruce, MS; Caliente, NV; Coupeville, WA; or Medicine Bow, WY, the FCC removed the formerly vacant FM allotment entry for your town from the official Table of FM Allotments. The change took effect on January 16, 2026, and the FCC says FM assignments and reserved facilities for authorized stations will be shown only in the Media Bureau’s Licensing Management System (LMS). The Commission describes this action as an editorial update to make the official table match licensed stations.
