Temporary Inner Harbor safety zone

From June 24, 2026 through July 1, 2026, the Coast Guard proposes a temporary safety zone covering Inner Harbor waters (about 2,000 yards by 500 yards, starting at Inner Harbor Pier 6 at lat 39°16'59" N, long 076°36'12" W). During the enforcement periods (starting 30 minutes before each airshow demonstration and ending when that demonstration finishes), persons and vessels may not enter the zone unless authorized by the Captain of the Port or a designated representative; vessels may request permission on VHF-FM channel 16 or by phone at (410) 576-2693.

Coast Guard finds minimal small-entity impact

The Coast Guard certifies that this proposed safety zone would not have a significant economic impact on a substantial number of small entities because it affects only a small area for a few hours at a time, the Coast Guard will issue Broadcast Notices to Mariners on VHF channel 16, and vessels can request permission to enter the area from the Captain of the Port.
