Haimingrun Removed From Import Ban

The U.S. International Trade Commission modified a limited exclusion order (LEO) to remove Shenzhen Haimingrun Superhard Materials (Haimingrun). The Commission vote took place on February 13, 2026, and the modification allows Haimingrun to resume importing and selling certain polycrystalline diamond compacts and articles containing the same in the United States that had been covered by the LEO.

Settlement Grants License to Haimingrun

On January 22, 2026, US Synthetic Corporation and Haimingrun filed a joint petition saying their settlement agreement gives Haimingrun a license to the patents underlying the LEO for certain polycrystalline diamond compacts and articles containing the same. The Commission found the petition met its rules and determined the conditions justifying the LEO as to Haimingrun no longer exist, which supported removing Haimingrun from the LEO.
