DSUR Streamlined for Tribal Grantees

The Demographic and Service Utilization Data Report (DSUR) for Tribal MIECHV grant recipients is being streamlined to reduce reporting burden and clarify terminology as part of a 3-year extension under OMB Control #: 0970-0614. The DSUR for grant recipients lists 68 respondents with an average burden of 146 hours per response and a total annual burden of 9,928 hours.

PMR Extended; Burden Estimates Updated

The Performance Measurement Data Report (PMR) is being extended for 3 years under OMB Control #: 0970-0614 with no content changes, but the agency updated estimated reporting burden based on a 2024 administrative burden assessment. The PMR lists 68 respondents with an average burden of 151.2 hours per response and a total annual burden of 10,282 hours.

Quarterly Report Discontinued; Monthly Calls Replace It

The Quarterly Performance Report (QPR) has been removed from OMB Control #: 0970-0614 and replaced by a smaller set of operational questions collected via monthly calls, approved under OMB Control #: 0970-0490. The agency states this change "significantly reduces burden" while maintaining monitoring functions.

Family DSUR: Very Small Time Burden

Families participating in Tribal MIECHV will report on the Demographic and Service Utilization Data Report with a very small time cost: 2,087 family respondents at about 30 seconds per response, totaling about 17 annual burden hours.
