Sri Lanka added to ASF list

Sri Lanka was added to the APHIS list of regions affected by African swine fever, effective December 4, 2024. Because of that, pork and pork products from Sri Lanka, including swine casings, are subject to APHIS import restrictions under 9 CFR 94.8 and 96.2 and may only be imported if processed as specified in Sec. 94.8(b) or consigned to an APHIS‑approved establishment for further processing.
