Summary

The Farmer Bridge Assistance (FBA) Program just got the green light for its paperwork from the government, making it official and ready to roll! This means farmers who planted eligible crops by December 19, 2025, can apply for payments using simpler, pre-filled forms. The program’s info collection is approved through October 2027, helping farmers get financial support faster and easier.

Pre-filled applications for eligible farmers

If you are a producer who reported acres on form FSA-578 by the earlier of the deadline in 7 CFR part 718 or December 19, 2025, the Farm Service Agency (FSA) will pre-fill the Farmer Bridge Assistance (FBA) application (form CCC-555) using those acres. That means your CCC-555 can come pre-filled so you can apply for FBA payments more quickly.

OMB approval and forms for FBA payments

The FBA Program's information collection was approved by OMB on February 26, 2026 (OMB Control Number 0503-0028) and the collection expiration date is October 31, 2027. The Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) will issue payments using forms CCC-901, CCC-902E, CCC-902I, CCC-941, and AD-1026 (AD-1026 is exempt), and the CCC-555 is the only new data collection added for this request.
