DEKRA Gains Nine New Test Standards

OSHA granted DEKRA Certification Inc. an expanded Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) scope that adds nine test standards, effective March 11, 2026. This lets DEKRA test and certify the products covered by those standards, and employers may use DEKRA-approved products to meet OSHA rules that require third‑party testing and certification.

One Standard Added to NRTL Program List

OSHA is adding UL 62841-4-3 (requirements for pedestrian controlled walk-behind lawnmowers) to the NRTL Program's List of Appropriate Test Standards. This makes UL 62841-4-3 an approved standard under the NRTL Program so recognized NRTLs may be authorized to test and certify products covered by that standard.
