Permit or Agreement Required for Range Work

If you hold a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) grazing permit or lease, you must enter into a Cooperative Range Improvement Agreement (Form 4120-6) or obtain a Range Improvement Permit (Form 4120-7) before installing, using, maintaining, or modifying a range improvement under 43 CFR 4120.3-1(b). This requirement is necessary to obtain or retain the benefit of conducting range improvements on BLM lands.

BLM estimates 530 annual respondents (holders of BLM grazing permits or leases) will each take about 1 to 2 hours to complete the required form(s), for a total estimated 1,060 annual burden hours. The notice estimates total annual non-hour costs at $0.
