Fruit Heights receives Forest land

If enacted, the bill would direct the Secretary of Agriculture to convey about 295.89 acres of Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest land to the City of Fruit Heights. The transfer would be by quitclaim deed, without consideration, and would occur not later than 30 days after enactment. The deed would reserve an easement for the Bonneville Shoreline Trail and allow the Secretary to correct minor map errors and keep the map on file for public inspection. The exact acreage would be set by a survey the city must pay for, and the city would pay reasonable survey and related administrative costs. The land must be used only for public purposes and could revert to the United States if used inconsistently, and the Secretary could add other terms to protect U.S. interests.
