Beginning June 1, 2025, Houston County’s sheriff receives $150,000 per year, up from $130,800—a $19,200 annual increase. The coroner receives $22,000 per year; the prior salary is not stated. Both officers receive the same uniform pay increases as other county employees, including cost-of-living increases. The law replaces the earlier salary provisions for both offices.
