Beginning October 1, 2025, Randolph County charges an extra $50 for each map recorded and copied in the probate judge’s office. This fee is added to all other required fees, taxes, costs, and charges. The probate judge collects the money and deposits it into the County General Fund. The county commission may use it for costs of recording and copying plat maps, including processing, digitizing, and laminating.
