Listed annual salary rates for regular jobs range from $64,000 to $200,000. Moving money between operating budget lines requires state fiscal officer approval and prior Arkansas Legislative Council or Joint Budget Committee review.

Funding for Arkansas disability fraud investigations

Funding for online crimes against children

For July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, the law provides $25,000 for Internet Crimes Against Children operations. The Attorney General's program receives designated federal funds. This is enforcement funding, not a new household payment or benefit.

Settlement money funds consumer enforcement and restitution

For July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, the Attorney General can spend $10 million from unrestricted settlement fees and other cash funds. Allowed uses include staff, office costs, grants, court-ordered payments, consumer education, and enforcement. A separate $31,000 cash appropriation covers staff, office costs, grants, fund transfers, and restitution payments and expenses. During this period, the office can move court-order or settlement receipts to the State Central Services Fund only when not already committed. These spending powers do not create a general household payment benefit.
