Pulaski Technical College gets operating funding

For July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, the law sets aside $18.255338 million from the college’s state fund. This includes $18.245338 million for regular salaries and $10,000 for operating costs. It also authorizes $81.135 million from cash funds for payroll, extra-help workers, operations, building improvements, debt payments, and other listed purposes. Spending must stay within these amounts, legally available funds, and state financial controls. This supports the University of Arkansas–Pulaski Technical College, not direct payments to households.

Pulaski Technical College staffing and pay limits

From July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, Pulaski Technical College can employ up to 780 regular workers. It can also hire up to 400 temporary or part-time extra-help workers when needed. Regular workers must hold listed positions, and their pay cannot exceed the law’s job-specific rates. Extra-help pay cannot exceed applicable job rates under state pay law or this act. These limits do not guarantee anyone a job or salary.
