Beginning July 1, 2026, the law authorizes $721,554 for Arkansas’s Liquefied Petroleum Gas Board through June 30, 2027. The money comes from the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Fund and covers staff and operating costs. It includes $30,000 for grants and aid and $50,000 for equipment and other capital purchases. The law allows six regular positions: one director, one fiscal support supervisor/expert, three inspectors, and one administrative specialist. It also allows one temporary or part-time employee, whose pay must stay within state legal limits. Spending must stay within the appropriation and available funds, follow state fiscal rules, and match the law’s stated budget purposes. The law does not create a direct household payment or benefit.
