Three Rivers receives campus operating funds

For July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, Arkansas State University Three Rivers receives two spending authorizations. State funding totals $5.004114 million: $3 million for salaries, $750,000 for related employee costs, $1.015823 million for operations, and $238,291 for contingencies. Cash-fund authority totals $25.886 million. It includes $4 million for salaries, $686,000 for temporary workers, and $1.4 million for related employee costs. It also includes $3 million for operations, $130,000 for travel, $500,000 for professional services, and $40,000 for promotional items. Another $2 million covers equipment and other capital purchases, $13.38 million covers capital improvements, and $750,000 covers debt payments. Spending cannot exceed these authorizations or available funds, and must follow state budget, purchasing, salary, and higher-education spending rules. Funds must also follow the stated budget requests and documents; this law does not provide direct household payments.

Three Rivers staffing and pay limits

From July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, Arkansas State University Three Rivers can employ up to 261 regular workers. The law sets annual pay ceilings, not guaranteed salaries: $214,799 for the chancellor, $114,926 for faculty, and $57,840 for part-time faculty. The university can also hire up to 60 temporary or part-time workers when needed. Their pay cannot exceed the applicable rate under this law or the Uniform Classification and Compensation Act. Their wages must come from funds set aside for that purpose.
