State data center power replacement funded

Beginning July 1, 2026, the law carries forward up to $1.35705 million in unused funding for state data-center equipment. The Office of State Technology can use it to replace uninterruptible power supply equipment at Data Center West. The facility is at 1105 Anderson Drive in Little Rock. The money comes from the Sustainable Building Design Revolving Loan Fund. Project contracts and obligations cannot exceed funds actually available in the State Treasury. Agencies can supplement funding with grants, donations, federal funds, and cash not already committed, but not maintenance or general operations funds. Spending must follow state purchasing, accounting, budgeting, revenue, and related fiscal controls unless another law specifically allows otherwise. Spending must also match the project's stated purposes in state budget materials.
