Matching grants fund county extension office improvements

Arkansas sets aside $2 million for county extension office improvements from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. The University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture administers the matching grants for capital improvements. Money comes from a State Treasury cash fund chosen by the state's Chief Fiscal Officer. The Department of Finance and Administration releases money only within the appropriation and legally available funds. Spending must follow state purchasing and budget laws, department fiscal rules, and the purposes stated in supporting budget records.
