Colorado ends savings help for renters

The law ends Colorado’s Financial Literacy and Exchange (FLEX) savings program on July 1, 2025. It was designed to give eligible state housing voucher households a $200 monthly savings match, financial mentoring, and other support. No households enrolled because administrators could not provide required services without compensation. On June 30, 2025, the State Treasurer must move all unused, uncommitted FLEX Fund money to Colorado’s General Fund.
