Colorado drivers keep organ donation contribution option

Colorado keeps the license contribution option for the Emily Keyes - John W. Buckner Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Fund. You can contribute when applying for a Colorado driver’s license or instruction permit, or renewing a driver’s license. The law removes the scheduled September 1, 2027, end date, keeping this option available indefinitely. Contributions are voluntary, and the law sets no contribution amount.
