Only humans can be medical providers

The law bans AI and other nonhuman agents from licenses to practice nursing, medicine, or physician assistant work in Delaware. Only human practitioners can hold these licenses. Nonhuman entities cannot use nursing titles like Nurse, RN, LPN, APRN, CRNA, CNS, CNP, or CNM. They also cannot use doctor or PA titles: Dr., Physician, Surgeon, MD, DO, Physician Assistant, or PA. This protects patients and reduces confusion about who is a licensed human provider.
