Delaware state vendors face electronic payment rules

Delaware state departments, commissions, and boards must pay vendors for goods or services using only three payment methods. These are direct deposit, a Single Use Account, or the state's procurement card. Exceptions require approval from both the State Treasurer's Office and the Division of Accounting. The rule excludes single-payment vouchers, one-time suppliers, legal settlements, and year-end forced payouts handled by the Division of Accounting.
