New transportation rules for Delaware students

Delaware’s Department of Education must set transportation rules for public and nonprofit private elementary and secondary schools. Nonprofit private-school students must have the same transportation standards as public-school students. Their transportation rights apply only within a public school district’s boundaries, not beyond them. Nonprofit private-school transportation is limited to elementary and secondary grades. This grade limit does not override state-law duties to transport public-school students at other levels.
