Delaware enforcement officers gain updated legal recognition

The law replaces references to “agents” with “officers” for Delaware’s Division of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Marijuana Enforcement. Division officers are included in definitions of law-enforcement officer, covered person, and specified peace officer. Each definition’s requirements in Titles 11, 18, and 29 still apply. This provision does not specify a direct household payment or benefit.
