More overtime pay for Delaware transportation workers

Beginning July 1, 2024, all Delaware transportation department employees not exempt from overtime rules get overtime after 37.5 compensable hours weekly. These are hours that count toward pay. Beginning July 1, 2026, the same threshold and rate apply to these 20 job titles: Administrative Specialist; Assistant Area Supervisor; Automotive Supervisor I and II; Conservation Technician IV; Engineering Technician I, II, and III; Graphics and Printing Supervisor; Highway Equipment Superintendent; Intelligent Transportation System Supervisor; Intelligent Transportation System Technician I, II, III, and IV; Maintenance Area Supervisor I and II; Purchasing Service Coordinator I; Roadside Environmental Specialist; and Traffic Sign Installation Supervisor.
