More ways for homeowners to clear liens

Delaware-licensed lawyers can use existing procedures to clear recorded money liens they paid off, beyond mortgages. Covered liens must be recorded with a recorder of deeds office. Examples include homeowner association and condo liens, UCC financing statements, and judgments. Lawyers can also partly release a lien or release specific property from it. They must use a sworn statement substantially like the existing required form, adjusted for the lien type.
