More help for Delaware film industry

If enacted, the bill would let Delaware’s film commission help productions seek permits. The commission would be able to coordinate with state and local permit offices and submit a standardized statewide permit application for applicants. It would also require the commission and the Tourism Office to run programs that promote filming, share location and service information, and work with the Delaware Prosperity Partnership to attract production businesses. The bill did not set funding and would not guarantee permit approvals.
