New trespass penalties at large events

At a ticketed event with more than 5,000 people, willfully entering or staying in an area set aside for ticket holders without permission is a third-degree felony. Someone who was allowed in also commits a third-degree felony by refusing a warning to leave from the venue owner, lessee, or their authorized person. A law enforcement officer can give that warning only with written venue authorization when there is a threat to public safety or welfare. These rules apply from when the venue opens to the public until the event ends and the venue is secured. People under 18 commit a second-degree misdemeanor instead.
