Quick-take eminent domain in Calumet City

The law takes effect immediately. For up to 2 years after that, Cook County and Calumet City can use Article 20 quick-take to acquire property for economic development. This applies only to the listed parcels: Parcel 1; Parcel 2 (ingress/egress and parking easements); Parcel 3; Parcel 7; Parcel 8; and tax parcel numbers 30-19-100-129-0000, 30-19-100-112-0000, and 30-19-100-135-0000. The Section is repealed 3 years after the effective date.
