Boston waives police age cap for Jean E. Roseney

The law lets Jean E. Roseney be considered for a Boston police job even if he is over the usual age limit. The Boston Police Department must waive the maximum age rule for him. He must still meet all other hiring requirements. This waiver applies only to Jean E. Roseney and does not change the rule for anyone else. It overrides the usual age rules, including a 2007 state law, and takes effect upon passage.
