No special election for Ward 7

Effective upon passage, the current Ward 7 council vacancy in Marlborough is not filled by a special election. Instead, the City Council must, by majority vote, appoint the person elected to Ward 7 in the regular 2025 municipal election. That appointee serves the rest of the unexpired term. This rule applies only to the current Ward 7 vacancy.
